Gutter Brightening
Definition
Gutter brightening is removing the black vertical streaks, called tiger striping, from the face of gutters using a dedicated acidic gutter cleaner and hand work.
Those streaks are oxidation and atmospheric grime bonded to the gutter face, and a normal house-wash mix will not touch them. A specialized gutter brightener, scrubbed and rinsed, restores the white finish that pressure and bleach leave behind.
Brightening is labor-heavy because each section is worked by hand, so it is priced and sold as its own line item, not bundled free into a house wash. It pairs naturally with house washing and gutter cleaning as a same-visit upsell.
