Ratio Injection

Definition

Ratio injection is the dilution rate at which an injector pulls concentrate into the water stream, such as 10:1, which sets the final percent solution hitting the surface.

If your injector draws at roughly 10 parts water to 1 part chemical, then 12.5% SH in the bucket lands near 1% on the wall - about right for a house wash. Change the ratio, the chemical strength, or the bucket mix and you change what the surface actually receives.

Understanding your real injection ratio is the difference between guessing and dialing. Operators who know their numbers can hit a target percent every time instead of over-applying to be safe, which wastes chemical and risks plants.
