X-Jet

Definition

An X-Jet is a nozzle that draws chemical from a bucket at the gun rather than through the hose, giving a stronger, more adjustable mix and longer reach than standard downstreaming.

Because it pulls undiluted chemical directly at the nozzle, an X-Jet applies a much hotter solution than a typical downstream injector, and proportioners let you change the ratio on the fly. The wide fan also throws solution higher, useful on tall walls and second stories.

The trade-off is more chemical use and a shorter effective stream than a dedicated soft-wash pump. Many operators keep an X-Jet for the cases where downstreaming is too weak but a full pump setup is more than the job needs.
